Destinations
This meticulously designed resort is set on 50 acres of wild land that’s being thoughtfully landscaped to be a paradise. It’s probably the first of its kind in the region, going by the sheer size and growing expansion that aims to introduce the concept of experiential hospitality. “Noune,” in Angami dialect means tranquil and serene. And true to its name, Noune Resort transports guests to another world -- midst greenery and a calm pastoral setting with a still water body surrounding the property. Promoted by Naithu Group of Hotel and Resorts, an established Naga chain of hospitality, there are four cottages, and each cottage is an independent unit that can accommodate a family, or a group of friends. The resort is currently on an expansion mode and about 7-8 new cottages are underway to make more rooms for travellers. Floating restaurant in the middle of the lake are some of the new elements that will be added in times to come.
Once here, be rest assured of efficient service that exudes a warm spirit of Naga hospitality at its best. Modern amenities in sync with any good hotels around the world add to your comfort. The location is the USP – it rests among the Patkai mountain ranges of the Naga Hills and overlooks a serene lake. Noune Resort is an ideal destination for de-stressing and rejuvenating stay, supplemented with exciting leisure activities. Go boating, water zorbing and tracking to the surrounding jungle. It sure is a getaway that’s not so far away from the busy commercial hub.

Naga thali with the signature pork/fish/chicken cooked with or without bamboo shoot and a selection of greens and paired with rice, is a typical comfort food that anyone would vouch for. The restaurant is within the grounds, as well as, a morung (meeting-place in Naga traditional culture) can be accessed to get a taste of the local cuisine - in addition to the continental fare. At the Noune Resort, a promising endeavour still in a fledgling state, a few new projects have already been initiated. This includes the construction of a lounge area that will be catering delicacies from around the world.
