Right from the location which is on the banks of the Siang River that flows quietly through Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh, and in the middle of the tropical forest; this is a retreat into the lap of nature. This is where Tayeng displays local craft and blends them with a contemporary touch. Interestingly, every object in the roomsin some way tells a story. The locally-manufacture wooden bedscrafted by local carpenters herald the richness of resource in that part of the world; the wooden dustbins are a celebration of the state’s natural abundance; the lamps made of fishing nets highlight the rich fauna and flora of the land.
